Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED teaches participants how to give first aid, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and use an automated external defibrillator safely and effectively. The course is offered in person traditional classroom format. Class is 4-4.5 hours

Two course options are available:

Heartsaver Total meets OSHA and regulatory requirements with comprehensive training, while Heartsaver Basic offers a more flexible option that does not meet regulatory requirements.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED teaches the lifesaving skills of first aid, CPR and AED including:

First aid basics
Medical emergencies
Injury emergencies
Environmental emergencies
Preventing illness and injury
Adult CPR and AED use
Choking help for an Adult, Child or Infant
Drowning response and prevention
Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies

The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs an OSHA-compliant course completion card—or anyone who simply wants to be ready to respond in an emergency. American Heart E-cards are valid for two years.

Individuals Needing Full Certification: Those requiring a comprehensive course covering CPR/AED and comprehensive first aid (burns, wounds, sudden illness) rather than just cardiac-specific training
